Good Questions, Honest Answers
Everything Kennewick neighbors usually want to know before their first visit — and if we missed one, just call.
What areas around the Tri-Cities do you serve?
We're based in Kennewick (99336) and cover about a 25-mile reach. That's all of Kennewick, from downtown and the Highlands to Canyon Lakes and Southridge; all of Richland, from the Alphabet house neighborhoods to Meadow Springs, Badger Mountain South and Horn Rapids; Pasco, from downtown to the newer neighborhoods off Road 68 and Road 100; plus West Richland, Finley, Burbank and Benton City. If you're near the edge of that, call and ask; for a good-sized list we can usually make it work.
Do you give free estimates?
Yes. Most jobs can be priced firmly from a handful of photos and a quick call. Bigger jobs, or ones that are hard to judge from pictures, get a no-charge visit first. In both cases you know the price before we book a day.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
Wherever possible we quote a flat price for the job, so the cost is settled before work begins. When the visit is an open-ended punch list, we settle on a rate and a rough scope with you first, so the bill holds no surprises. When the work turns out quicker or easier than planned, you pay less, not more.
Are your pros licensed and insured?
Yes. The work is done by insured local pros who hold the licenses and registrations required in Washington for the job at hand, so electrical and plumbing connections are handled by licensed tradespeople. Ask us anything before we start.
What jobs do you take on?
We handle the everyday repair and upkeep list: drywall patches, door adjustments, TV and shelf mounting, furniture assembly, ceiling fans and light fixtures, dimmers and smart switches, hardwired doorbells and thermostats, faucet, toilet and disposal repairs and replacements, supply lines, fence and gate fixes, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, paint touch-ups, garage storage and seasonal maintenance. Send everything on your list, even the tiny items, and we'll build a single visit around it.
The wind knocked down part of my fence. How fast can you get out here?
Windstorms are the most common reason people call us in a hurry, and after a big blow everybody's fence calls come in at once. Send photos of the damage and we'll tell you what it needs and when we can get there. If a gate won't latch or a dog can get out, say so and we'll prioritize a temporary fix to close the gap until the full repair is done.
Can you help get my house ready for summer heat or winter cold?
Yes, and both visits are worth it here. Before summer we check ceiling fans, re-caulk sun-baked joints, tighten loose fence boards and clear the dust out of door and window tracks. Before winter we clean gutters, disconnect hoses, check weatherstripping and door sweeps, and look for drafts around outlets and trim so the heat pump isn't working against open gaps when the inversion settles in.
Can I just text you a photo of the problem?
Please do. Two or three sharp pictures, one tight on the problem and one showing the whole wall or doorway, along with a line or two of explanation, usually tells us what we're dealing with and is often enough for a firm number. Photos also let us load the right parts so the job gets done on the first visit.
How do I schedule, and how far out are you booked?
Phone us or fill out the contact form with your address and a quick rundown of what needs doing. You'll get a real arrival window of a couple of hours, not an all-day wait, and a heads-up if we're running late. Short jobs usually fit in within a few days, while a long list can take a bit longer to book because we reserve enough hours to finish it all in one trip.
Got a list? Let's shorten it.
One quick call or text gets you a real price and a real arrival time — usually within the week.
